Fairford Steam Show Returns

Every summer, Fairford comes alive with the unmistakable sights, sounds and atmosphere of steam as enthusiasts, families and visitors gather for the much-loved Fairford Steam, Classic & Retro Show. What began as a celebration of Britain’s rich industrial heritage has become one of the highlights of the local calendar, bringing together magnificent steam engines, classic vehicles, vintage machinery and a wonderful community spirit. The event begins with the popular Steam in the Square on the Friday evening, where a selection of beautifully restored engines takes pride of place in Fairford Market Square, offering everyone a free opportunity to experience these incredible machines up close before the Saturday showground event (tickets required).

We are delighted to be hosting our outdoor BBQ ‘n’ Bar during Steam in the Square on Friday evening, providing the perfect place to relax with great food, refreshing drinks and the best views of the engines as they arrive in the heart of the town.
